Healthy beautiful katana added. More details and pictures coming soon…
A very interesting custom made Edo piece with the original owners name inscribed. Both sides of the Nakago are signed, the owner, Mr. Hirai Toshizumi, and the smith, Toshikuni. Toshikuni is his early Mei, he later changed his name to Toshizane. Blade measures a massive 774 grams, the equivalent of a full length katana. We have a side comparison shot in our slideshow to see how wide the blade is. Blade comes with Tokubetsu certification and the koshirae also comes with Hozon papers.
