| Full notes: | This is a very nice set for a very good price. A great Koto blade Attributed as Taira Takada in nice Edo period fittings.The blade has a very nice curvature and the polish is in good co ndition.
The Koshirae is nice and old and has fittings with a great deal of character. Both Japan's famous Carp and Shishi dogs. Carp can be found almost anywhere in Japan, in temples ponds, castle moats, public and private ponds, and they are extremely large, so this is a nice tribute to the Japanese culture of today and centuries before. |
